Joel & Christine Zucker Family

Currently we live in Austin Texas. Joel is Vice President of Sales for Harcourt Achieve, an educational publishing house. I am a part time children's pastor at Calvary Worship Center in Austin. Rachel our oldest will be 12 on May 14th and she stands tall at 5 foot 5! She is currently looking me right in the eye which is rather unnerving! We made a decision to homeschool Rachel this year and we're almost finished with 5th grade! Rachel just finished playing basketball in an Upwards league and she did a great job. She also plays the violin with the Grace Covenant Orchestra. Ariel is 9 going on 30! She is in third grade and also growing like a weed.

It must be the Texas air or water! Ari also played Basketball this year and I coached her team! Needless to say we lost every game but everyone improved including me! Noah is coming right along. He is currently in pre-school at Capitol School of Austin. He has had a rough start but he is doing great now. He is 5 years old and will attend Kindergarten in the Fall.

We also have two new members of our family, Asher and Yedid. That last one is pronounced YA-DEED. They are miniature double dapple dachsunds. Asher means happy blessing and Yedid means beloved friend. So far they are neither. They have peed and pooped every where and chewed everything in sight. Oh the joys of owning dogs! They are cute however which frequently prevents me from killing them. I am also teaching an Israeli dance class for children and adults. Rachel and Ari are in the class but not Noah or Joel. Let's just say they are rythym challenged! We are looking forward to another blistering Texas Summer and would love some company. Ya'll come and visit ya hear!

Just to let everyone know, Rachel is going away to camp from June 27 to July 10 in California. She is not permitted any electronic devices at camp. Christine is asking people to drop Rachel a letter because it's her first time away from home. Her address is:
